SpearTip typically begins by collecting various data points to validate, refine or modify current hypotheses. This may require conducting further technical analysis of the environment in order to assure comprehensive and accurate appraisal.
One of the characteristics of one particular country’s economic intelligence gathering is often referred to as “mosaic intelligence gathering.” This involves the wide-scale collection of seemingly disparate information, often on a piecemeal basis in order to avoid or delay detection.
In similar fashion, SpearTip will engage in a broad-ranged gathering and analytical process. This effort will involve our accessing open source data, relevant counterintelligence community resources, in addition to client inputs with necessary follow-on investigation and supplementation.
The deliverable will include a comprehensive account of existing threats and probable future challenges. This will enable SpearTip to provide an action plan for responding to these threats and assessing and averting potential future attacks.
