While many large organizations struggle when responding to Point-of-Sale (POS) breaches, smaller companies have become a popular target for these malware attacks. The retail industry, in general, continues to be the focus of POS malware. The attacks, however, are increasing in sophistication, as attackers from around the glob look for new ways to circumvent traditional security measures. As a result, the technical expertise required to detect, identify and mitigate these attacks is also on the rise.
