The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH), the nation’s national mental health charity, confirmed a ransomware attack against its systems. This ruthless attack includes leaking sensitive data about patients of the charity.

Greece’s postal service, known as ELTA, is recovering from a ransomware attack that forced operations offline. A statement from ELTA indicated a zero-day vulnerability was exploited in order to carry out the attack.

Research testing the encryption speed of various ransomware found the fastest could encrypt 25,000 files per minute. LockBit was found to be the fastest ransomware; learn the inner workings of the threat group here.
