Whitworth University, a private institution in Washington, had its systems breached and impacted by ransomware. In yet another attack targeting the education sector, students’ personal data was exposed to threat actors.

Kingfisher, a London-based multinational retailer of home improvement goods, experienced a ransomware attack. The breach, for which LockBit has claimed responsibility, exposed up to 1.4TB of data, including employee and customer information.

Medibank, one of Australia’s largest health insurance providers covering over 3.7 million individuals, suffered a devastating ransomware attack. As the investigation continues, various client services were taken offline.

Due to a breach of a misconfigured server that was accessible to the public internet, numerous Microsoft customers had their user information exposed. This breach occurred on an independent server and is not connected to Microsoft’s network.

Advocate Aurora Health (AAH), a 26-hospital network, experienced a data breach resulting in the exposure of sensitive records for some 3 million patients. The improper use of Meta Pixel on the health provider’s website was identified as the breach point.
